Name Gilchrist in an Obituary
Families often request that memorial gifts be made to Gilchrist in lieu of flowers. To do so, you may use the following language in an obituary.
“In lieu of flowers, the family may suggest memorial contributions be made to Gilchrist, 11311 McCormick Rd., Ste. 350, Hunt Valley, MD 21031, or make an online donation at gilchristcares.org/donate.”
Garden and Tribute Walls
Gilchrist’s Garden and Tribute Walls create a lasting and lovely memorial to someone dear. Situated among the beautiful gardens at our three hospice centers, or indoor at Gilchrist Center Towson, these plaques allow you to create a meaningful tribute while also supporting the work of these centers.
Garden Wall Plaques may be ordered throughout the year. Depending on your order date, your plaque will be installed in May, July or October.
Tribute Wall Plaques can be ordered and installed at any time. Please contact us for more information.

Gift of Gratitude
As you reflect on the care your loved one received, we invite you to give a gift of gratitude. This program offers a meaningful way to recognize a staff member or team who made a difference during your time with Gilchrist, while also supporting our mission of providing compassionate hospice services. Your donation can be designated to a particular program or center that is important to you.
You can honor anyone at Gilchrist, including (but not limited to) a nurse, hospice aide, doctor, social worker, chaplain, music therapist, volunteer or other caregiver. You can even honor a whole team. Your words of thanks are shared and they receive special recognition.
