What Is the Counseling and Support Program at Gilchrist?
No matter where you are in your journey, our Counseling and Support program is here to help. You are not alone.
Counseling and Support Program
Extensive services for every stage of serious illness.
Gilchrist understands the significance when you or your loved one has just received a serious or life-limiting illness. We are available to provide emotional support before and after a loss. During the time of bereavement, we offer one-on-one grief counseling, support groups, workshops and remembrance events.
Because each person copes with grief in a very personal and unique way, Gilchrist offers services free of charge to help you explore, understand and express the grief that is exclusively yours.
If you are not sure what services you need, our care navigators (888.823.8880) are available to answer your questions and connect you to resources that can help.
You can also read The Gilchrist Blog to learn more about our programs and services.
Our Compassionate Counselors
Our Counseling team understand that navigating care options for a serious illness can be stressful, overwhelming and confusing, but they also understand you will have many questions. They are here to answer your questions about care for a loved one even if they are not ready for hospice. Furthermore, anyone can call – the patient, family members, friends or physicians.
