End of Year Giving – Several Easy Ways to Give

If you are interested in making a tax-deductible gift or fulfilling a pledge before the end of the 2023 tax year, there are several easy and convenient methods for end of year giving.

End of Year Giving Options

By Mail

You can mail your gift to:
Gilchrist
Attn: Philanthropy Department
11311 McCormick Road, Suite 350
Hunt Valley, MD 21031

Please note: Checks should be made payable to Gilchrist and postmarked by December 31, 2023.

You can designate your gift to a specific center or program by making note on the memo line of your check.

Online

You can make your gift online. Gifts should be made by 11:59 p.m. EST on December 31, 2023, to count for this tax year.

Stock Gifts

You can transfer a gift of stock. If you have questions, please contact Dawn Lowe at dlowe@gilchristcares.org or 443.849.8213

IRA Charitable Rollover

A special opportunity for those 70½ years old and older, you can give up to $50,000 per year from your IRA directly to Gilchrist without having to pay income taxes. This is commonly called an IRA charitable rollover, but you may also see it referred to as a qualified charitable distribution, or QCD for short.

Donor Advised Fund

If you have a donor advised fund with any third-party provider, you can make a distribution to Gilchrist by listing us as a final beneficiary.

Gilchrist’s EIN is 52-1851251.

Matching Gifts

Did you know that many employers match charitable gifts made by their employees? Find out more.
