Gilchrist is proud to present the Social Work Training Institute (SWTI) – Seminar Series, a dynamic lineup of virtual trainings created to support and strengthen the professional development of social workers across the healthcare spectrum. These online seminars are approved for CEUs by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners and are designed to be interactive, engaging, and directly applicable to the important work you do.
Whether you’re working in hospice, palliative care, case management, outpatient therapy, or community health, this series is for you.
Key Features of the Seminar Series

- 1.5 to 3 CEUs per session

- Led by experienced presenters with clinical expertise
- Planned months in advance to fit your schedule
Each session includes clearly stated learning objectives and opportunities for questions, dialogue, and skill-building. Seminar topics range from clinical supervision and cultural humility to grief, dementia care, music therapy, and ethical end-of-life conversations.
CEU Requirements & Guidelines
Gilchrist is a Board Authorized Sponsor through the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners. To receive CEUs:
- Complete the post-session evaluation (QR code provided at the end of each training) within 24 hours
- Keep your camera on and full name visible during the session
- Arrive on time — late arrivals (after 5 minutes) will not be admitted
- Actively participate as you would in an in-person session
Certificates will be issued within seven days of the session.
