Lighting Up the Night: Gilchrist’s Twilight Event Brings Comfort and Connection
At Gilchrist, we know that grief doesn’t end when the holidays arrive; it often deepens. That’s why each December, we gather as a community to pause, reflect, and honor the memories of those who remain forever in our hearts.
This year, Gilchrist presents Twilight: An Evening of Remembrance—a virtual event on Saturday, December 13, 2025, offering a moment of peace, reflection, and connection from the comfort of home.
Whether you’ve lost a spouse, parent, child, sibling, or dear friend, Twilight is a space where love shines brightest in remembrance.
A Gentle Evening of Reflection
The evening, presented by Sol Levinson, will feature readings, music, and a collective moment of remembrance—inviting participants to light a candle and join others across our community in illuminating the night. We encourage you to have a candle on hand as you watch, creating your own small circle of light to honor those who have touched your life.
Share Your Loved One’s Photo
As part of this special event, we invite families to submit a photo of their loved one to be included during a meaningful tribute segment.
- Please submit your photo (one per loved one, per family) to ajaska@gilchristcares.org
- Deadline: Friday, November 28, 2025, by 5:00 p.m.
- Photos received after this time cannot be included due to the event’s production schedule
This visual tribute is one of the most moving parts of the evening—a shared moment that reminds us that every life leaves behind a glow.
