Taste of Howard County
Sunday, October 20, 2024

Please join us at the 39th annual Taste, benefitting Gilchrist Center Howard County, the only inpatient hospice center in the county. Over 20 Howard County restaurants will be featured at the ‘50s diner and sock hop so put on your leather jacket and poodle skirt and support hospice services in Howard County. Powerful Tools for Caregivers

Powerful Tools for Caregivers is a class series that supports caregivers in taking care of yourself while caring for someone else. By taking care of your own health and well-being, you become a better caregiver. Whether you provide care for a spouse, partner, parent, or friend, at home or in a care facility, whether down the block or miles away, yours is an important role. This course is for caregivers like you!

Gilchrist offers a wide variety of events throughout the year for families, supporters and our community. Some of these include signature events like the Gilchrist Ball, and Taste of Howard County. Likewise, we also offer the following remembrance events: Steps of Hope, Twilight in the Woods, Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day Celebration and Wellness Day. Many of our events are possible only because of the support we receive from our event committees, corporate and individual sponsors, dedicated volunteers and our generous attendees.
